Welcome to Speech in the Valley
Your speech journey begins here!
At Speech in the Valley, we provide pediatric speech therapy in Las Vegas that is neurodiversity-affirming, sensory-aware, and play-based. Sessions are built around your child’s strengths, interests, and real goals, not a one-size-fits-all plan.
We know how overwhelming it can feel when waitlists are long, communication feels hard, or you’re unsure what is actually happening in therapy. Here, families are part of the process. And parent coaching is woven into every session, so you understand what we’re working on and feel confident supporting your child at home.
Speech therapy is about more than words; it's about helping your child build confidence, communicate their needs, and feel celebrated and understood. From the first visit, our goal is for you to feel supported, informed, and at ease.

Meet Your Speech Therapist
Mocheche (Che) Onsoti, M.S., CCC-SLP
Owner, Speech-Language Pathologist
Welcome! I’m Che, a pediatric speech therapist with over eight years of experience supporting children and families in the school and private practice settings.
I started Speech in the Valley to create a space where therapy feels personal, collaborative, and family centered. I have always envisioned a boutique-style space that focuses on the whole child and moves away from a one-size-fits-all model. My goal is for every child to feel celebrated for who they are and for families to feel genuinely supported.
My approach is neurodiversity-affirming, sensory-aware, and play-based. I take time to coach parents and collaborate with the other important adults in each child’s life. When planning therapy and setting goals, I use each child’s strengths as the foundation for growth. Parent coaching is a key part of my work, which is why I offer one-on-one coaching and make space to connect with parents during sessions.
Outside the clinic, I’m a mom of two who enjoys spending time with my family, running, and traveling. My goal is for you and your child to feel supported from day one as we work together toward meaningful progress.
Are you ready to get started with Speech in the Valley?
-
We will begin with a phone call to learn more about your child’s needs, discuss your concerns, and answer any questions you may have. During this call, we will also share information about our services, therapy approach, and next steps.
-
Once we receive the referral, our team will reach out to schedule the evaluation and confirm that our services are a good fit for your child based on their individual needs. We will also discuss any items that may be specifically required for the evaluation, particularly for feeding assessments.
-
At your child’s evaluation, the speech therapist will use a variety of formal and informal assessment tools, observe your child during play and structured activities, and gather input from you. Following the evaluation, we will go over the findings together, discuss your goals and concerns, and develop a therapy plan that supports your child’s needs and your family’s priorities.
-
Therapy begins with individualized, play-based sessions scheduled on a weekly basis. Parents are actively involved in sessions and receive ongoing coaching and support to promote carryover of targeted skills across daily routines.
